Are any of you using this intake system?
How well is it working for you?
Has it affected your cooling systems abilty to cool your engine?

Thanks Dale

I almost went with the Vararam. I never heard of any cooling issues, at least on Z's due to the Vararam. Although I didn't buy it I think it is a good unit from the reports I have read. The install takes some time compared to most aftermarket intakes.

I just got the new Tunnel Ram from Halltech. Doing some Nology dyno runs before installing to get comparitive numbers. It supposed to add about 22 rwhp with ls1edit tuning. We'll see!!The Stage 2 and 3 additions are coming soon. I think the stage 2 is actually ready this week. I will wait to see what others say and dyno numbers.

Had my Vr1B put on last march. Had a Halltech T-1c sidewinder. No issues at all cooling, codes or anything. I do notice that the engine doesn't get as dusty as it used to. But I check the filter and it's not that dirty. Have had it on for about 3,000 miles. Put BPP step headers on at the same time. Ran a 11.98@117.63 at the local track and was threatened to be booted off if I did it again (no rollbar..NHRA track). No issues in the rain either. And we have some stinkin' rain around here! I don't have a garage queen and drive as much as possible!

Forgot to mention...with Ls1edit and dynotuning: 381.4rwhp and 379rwtq. With the Halltech and dynotuning, I had 362 rwhp and 359rwtq.

Mike, Did you grab the extra 20 with headers and ls1edit and change intake?
