Very early '71 production LT-1's

Never heard that myself, so I too will be interested in feedback.
 
Well, my car isn't terribly early, #3081, but my block was cast 7/25/70 and assembled on 8/25/70, and when my engine was torn down for the first time at 94,00 miles, it had the 9:1 flatops in it.

Guys.... had to read this post cause I had a70 LT1 roadster (marlboro maroon) with 36,000 miles that I sold to Merschons in Springfield,Ohio in March of this year:cry Can"t answer your question but can tell you it was a great car and I miss it. 370hp was hard to control with the wide oval polys and when you were out in it , it was like.......hang on :eek Ya gotta love em
