Voting Time: Which hood should I have made for my C8?

I decided that I would graduate from college a semester early, so my C8 plans are now at least half a year closer to being realized.

So that's where you guys need to help me. Which hood do you think I should have on it? My goal is to make the car look awesome + make it not look so much like a Camaro with a bodykit... and I think the hoods put on the C8s I've seen is to blame for that. (You'll notice that I included many Camaro hoods in my photochops, but that was in case it was the voter's favorite hood for the car, not necessarily mine.)

So please vote for the hood you like most. Most of these hoods would have to be custom fiberglassed, which I don't see as an immediate problem, but that may be more ignorance on my part than confidence. I might need some help from Chip Foose. :L

1. is the stock Camaro hood used on most C8s
2. is the stock hood with the vents fiberglassed over
3. is a Callaway C7 inspired hood
4. is a '98-'02 Camaro SS hood
5. is a '98-'02 Firebird hood (and front bumper grills)
6. is a '93-'97 Firebird hood (and front bumper lines)
7. is a '96-'97 Camaro SS hood
8. is a '97-'04 Corvette inspired hood
9. is a new Mercedes SLK style hood
10. is an old Mercedes SLK style hood
11. is an '05-'06 Corvette inspired hood

Please vote for the one you think looks best. I already know my favorite, but I can definitely be swayed since my favorite is a very difficult custom job...

My friend suggested I edit choice #11 to have the Corvette's lump go down the nose of the C8. Must say... I'm in love.

I voted for the other f-body hood however, the #11 that runs into the nose looks nice as well - I just thought the F'bd hood had a certain subtlety about it :cool

If the hoods curves continue into the nose i vote for a #11 or #08. Just good not to loud and not to plane!

Oh good point Luigi! That reminds me, have I ever shown my "Jagmaro" photoshop creation here?

I made it from pics taken from the video game Gran Turismo 4. It is made from a Jaguar XKR, '97 Camaro Z28, '01 Camaro SS, and '69 Camaro SS. Unfortunately, I'm not all that sure that the hood would look good on a Callaway C8. (at least with the vents)

I am not a normal visitor to this forum but I will add my 2 cents.

How about an old school camaro/chevelle cowl induction style hood

To be honest, I've never been a fan of cowl induction hoods on 4th gen f-bodies. I think they ruin the aerodynamic look of the cars. I want my C8 to be extremely aerodynamic looking, so I think I'm gonna have to go with my edit to #11.
