Do you mean an ls1 motor? bottom end and heads?

This is a crate engine, a LS1 corvette engine, without the fly by wire, but with a normal TB. Also they come with headers and motormanagment. Those engines are speciale made for those enthousiasts who wanted to build in a LS1 in "what every kind of vehickle"

The f-bodies had a normal TB non fly by wire. Internals are the same.

My understanding is that the LS1 and LS6 are generation 3 chevy small block engines. I don't think there are generation 1, 2, and 3 LS1's.

You can just buy the F-Body LS1 throttle body. The F-body LS1 engine has a different cam than the vette LS1 (less power) but the throttle is operated by a cable instead of FBW.
The F-Body TB is available from GM.
