Went to the dyno this weekend

We went to Mid America Fun fest last weekend. Decided to put the CE on the Dyno just for kicks. It was a portable Dyno.

My LT4 is basically stock with the following mods; shorty headers, Power effects exhaust, BBK TB, AFPR, 160 Hypertech stat, K&N filter.

This is a pic of the Dyno sheet. If there are any experts out there feel free to comment.

I would say respectable numbers and your mods did there job. I dont know if I am reading the graft wrong but it seems you climb wright up with your hourse power and it stays ther all the way to the end.


I had my 2002 C5 on a dyno and it was not a sharp as a climb up and it fell off pretty abrubtly. The max hp we had on both pulls was 313
 
Looks good....typical LT4 profile...

I always wonder when I see the A/F vary.....the one run it is down around 11 but doesn't seem to effect performance.....

You probably left some HP in the radiator! Why do all 3 pulls within a couple of minutes? You might do better letting the vette cool down a little between pulls.

The car was set up this way when I got it last year. I was anxious to see how it would do on the dyno. I am pleased. I have seen other LT4's dyno right around 300 HP bone stock. Some a little higher some lower. For all the money that was spent on mods it just doesnt seem worth the cost for the few HP that were picked up. And that is if it didnt dyno around 310 bone stock, which some LT4's do.
