Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

What is your 'daily driver'?

i drive my 2002 grand prix gt and my wife drive's her 1999 grand am gt
the kid's drive there own car's.

'01 Jeep Cherokee, or '05 Jeep Liberty.
All depends on what my wife is doing on any given day.
I just recently traded my '00 Cherokee for the Liberty.

Only a GM product

The 81 is only used for "recreational" purposes. Since I work all the time, it has only logged <1000 miles in 2 years. It won't be driven in bad weather anyway.
I drive a 2000 Z71 (red) and my bride drives a 2001 Yukon (red). The color combo matches all 3 vehicles. Matter of fact, I took the paint code # from the glovebox of my Z71 to mix for the 81.Wish I knew how to uplink a pic of the 81, but I remain computer stupid-maybe one day I will memorize the steps to put up a pic.If someone would take the time to teach me I would appreciate it mucho.
:L

Most days it is the Vette but on some days...

Sold my '70 GMC 3/4 ton pickup awhile ago,so I was using the 78 Olds Cutlass for a driver. The 79 Vette is only recreational in good weather.I recently picked up a black '99 Mitsubishi Galant GTZ V6 w/grey leather interior and all the options, off Ebay for a really good price that I've added a few things to,& it will become the daily transportation

Most of the time an 01 Chevy Camaro, V6/5sp. The rest of the time a 99 Blazer ZR2 or a 65 Chevy Malibu.

Right now the 81 POTOGLD is the daily driver. although was always driven by hubby on raining/bad days. Used to drive an 84 camaro but sold it when I retired. Then just had my 2000 Buick Lasabre and the 2001 HD totaled when our garage burnt down.
As you see, we are true GM people.;-)
Bev.

My Vette is my weekend warm weather car. I have a 1998 BMW M3 for a daily driver on nice days and a Subaru Outback for the nasty days...like today.

My daily driver is a 94 Corvette Convertible! The 81 stays in the garage most of the time. It sees about 3000 miles a year, mainly summer cruisin and shows!

The Corvette is strictly for weekend/good weather cruising. I've got a 1990 C1500 pick-up,1998 Cavalier (we call it the 'beater car'),2002 Z24 Cavalier (mine),2005 Cavalier (wifes),99 Cavalier (daughter). Here is a picture of my fleet.

I get a company truck. 2005 Work Truck model.4.3V6 YEAH! No power windows/no power locks/rubber floor/no cruise/no cdplayer. LOL Its still ok, i get 19-20mpg, i put linex on the bed, as well as vent visors... soon to come tint, cd player.

Cavaliers:confused

Daily driver: 90 Toyota 4Runner w/ 202,000 miles. Still on the original clutch and pulls plenty strong. Now mind you, my '81 gets better gas mileage but it gets me 100 miles round trip every day.

The daily beater is a 66 corvair sedan lol!
Damn you...I had a 66 flop top Corvair...what a great car. Is your´s auto or 4 speed? The lines were great and the pancake 6 pushed it around just fine. The good old days sure were good!:D

1999 Ford E250 Super Cargo Van. It has all the goodies p/w,p/l,cruise,etc. It's equipped like a Lincoln. The best thing about it is , it has over sized tires and stands real tall. The big suv's standdown.

A 97 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC or a 91 Jeep Cherokee with 215,000 miles. The Jeep still has the original engine and transmission. No rebuilds. Barely maintained. I change the oil in it every 10,000 miles whether it needs it or not. :)
