What is your 'daily driver'?

Another thread from the deep darks comes back to life. My wife's on her third Tahoe, daughter has the Trailblazer, and my daily driver is a Silverado 2500HD. Had many cars over the years, but now it's Chevys 'til they fail me.

OK, I've been wondering. . . our Vettes are 24 years old now, and it is currently winter - What does John Q. 81Vetteowner drive? Another Chevy of some sort? A very economical car to afford the luxury? 4X4? "I'll walk til spring"? Mind my own business?! I have a 2002 Monte Carlo - bought new, shares the garage with the Vette. Anyone else want to weigh in?
Craig

The Redvettelady drives another GM product everyday...a rare find.....
its a 2002 chevy cavalier Z24 ...4 door.......they did not make many of these.....but it sure has the go that other cavaliers do not......

My DD is my 04 My wifes is the 95 but when its nice out I drive one of the others.

My 97 is my daily driver but when I feel the need for something different I get in ths 52 F1 with a TPI

I also have two other "Beaters" a 90's S10 pickup. Its really not needed but my Wife doesn't want me to sell since its so reliable and easy to drive (5 speed) and teach the young-uns to drive stick shift; And for hunting I have a full size 89 Blazer which sits idle from March to October.

My Wife drives the 96 Impala SS and there is also a 94 sable and 94 escort which the boy drives. The 76 keeps getting pushed further back on my list of things to fix as the "Honey Do" list gets bigger.

My house looks like a small car lot as my wife keeps bringing in strays

All Chevy

We alternate between the 2001 Tahoe and the 2003 Tahoe. Once in a while I'll drive the 71 to work.

My personal daily drivers are: the Vette when it's not raining and there's no salt on the roads and my 95 Monte Carlo at all other times. My wife drives a 2006 Saturn Vue except for the rare occasion when she has driven the Vette.

Nice photochop job on the '82CE... :L

I have to change my previous answer from my post (#7) in this thread. (Way back in Feb'05!)
My current daily driver is a '05 Nissan Altima 3.5SE. 5-speed. I love it! Suckers got balls...70mph in 2nd gear!!! Damn near as fast as my vette! Top speed around 144mph. I just need to put a sway bar in the rear and lower it an inch or two and there won't be many 'everyday' cars or drivers that I couldn't hang with in any situation.

Andre, Yes, Your Nissan Altima has balls I was one of the lucky passengers to live and tell..damn fast! :beer

i have a hard time deciding i am only can drive 7500 miles for insurance reasions so it may be 89 ford ranger 89 f250 04 f150 83 datsun 280zx tubo
or my 2003 vette

Theresa=05 Trailblazer
Mine=96 Thunderbird
Ben=06 Mustange GT ( He just put a supercharger on it:crazy )
Stephanie=97 Laser
Kasey= 94 Ranger

There is only one car in the garage...or as it is know as "The Temple of Zoom":_rock

2001 Silverado Z71 for me.
2006 Malibu LTZ for my better half.
1993 Suburban 2500 454 cui 4X4 for cargo.
1988 Corvette (weekend warrior)

The Suburban used to be my wife's daily driver until fuel hit $3.50 gallon. The difference in fuel costs make the monthly car payment (25 to 27 mpg verses 8 to 10 mpg) and she loves driving that Malibu.
