I just installed a VBP suspension kit with front coils and rear composite spring. The right rear wheel now seems to stick out farther and the left rear wheel is in. Any ideas what is wrong? I measeured and centered the rear sping per the instructions.
Thanks
Tom

Tom,

Are you able to show us some photos?

In the meantime, I've alerted Alan to this thread..... our VBP representative.

See my post at the other place but the short skinny is that it was probably like this prior to you modification/refurb of the rear suspension. Dave..

Thanks for the replies.
I think I got it. After staring at it for a while I realized the camber looked too positive on the right and too negitive on the left. I eyeball adjusted the camber on both sides and it looks allot better now. I hope to get a real alignment tomorrow. Next weekend is Corvette Weekend on OC MD!

Tom,

The spring cannot alter the lateral position of your wheels - just the strut rods...

So can the axles. Measure them.

One of mine was 1/8 inch longer than the other (probably off a c3) and if installed in reverse of their previous positions, unequal length shafts alter geometry.
