What wires go to my '73 A/C compressor?

I have one black wire in the back that attaches to a stud and it's hot with the a/c control on. In the front, right behind and to the right of the clutch there are two electrical tab connections. The left one is wired to ground. The other one has no wire going to it.

My clutch does not engage when I turn on the control. Should there be another wire going to the right hand tab behind the clutch mentioned above or do I have a clutch prob?

My cheapo Haynes schematic has no a/c wiring for the '73.

on my 76 it is a green wire with a black going to ground.

Thanks, do both wires go to the front connectors or does one go the the back?
