It's not just the C4 market that's soft, the whole Corvette market is soft.

Low 20's would be my guess also.

What's the asking price?

ZR1 !!!!
Gotta be mid 20's if it's as nice in person as it is in the pictures.
Heck, I wouldn't mind owning it if it looks that good.
52,000 isn't a whole lot for a 90, and that breaks down to about 2,500
per year. Should be just about broken in by now! :D

Sweet!

Don't know what it's worth, but you know I'm a sucker for the dark red ones so I say go for it!

And next time we're both on the Dragon I want a pass driving her. :D

It's true, the WHOLE Corvette market is soft. I read the C4's Buyer's Market in Magazine Corvette not too long ago (July 2012 Edition). They were calling a 1990 ZR-1 at 27K to 35K for good to show-ready. They also state this includes a drop of 20%. I see more than 20% in real life!!! I don't know where they're getting their numbers, but they are way higher than what I'm seeing advertised, never mind sold! AND it's the same cars from 6 months ago. Every once in a while you don't see one after the asking price is drastically lowered.

I've seen a few C6's for 25K!!!

Now this ZR-1 is Sweet and I'll bet would be a blast to drive and to own! :)

Well Dad,I'm going to Look at and Drive it tomorrow or Wednesday!:thumb
If it's as nice as it looks in the photos and I decide Flip it,I'll be able to sell to a family member a little cheaper than that!~!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

:D

I noticed a '90 ZR1 in my local paper today. 32K miles and asking $29,500.

Love, need sounds like we'll see pics of it in you driveway very soon!!! low to mid 20's for a 1st year ZR1 seems reasonable to me. :cool!:

Well Guys,I left it there!
It was nice,but it wasn't!
It had some issues,Trans shifted sloppy and hard,Clutch was like stepping on a plumb,Safety restraint warning was active,Drivers seat had a couple tears on the bolster,Dash had been out and not installed back properly,Evidence of rear hit,It had a total repaint,Not a bad job other than primer and over-spray on things and I didn't like the paperwork,or lack there of! It would have took 2-3 k to put it in tip top shape!

I did find something interesting about it though!~!! :thumb:thumb:thumb

Mid teens...
That would be nice 15k-16k for a ZR1 with 50k and not out of the relm of possibility, I watched a few of them on ebay before buying my base Vette, not that I could afford one at the time anyway just checking prices. Only saw 1 sell for less than 20k and the miles were around 105k or so if I remember right, the others just let the auction end with no sale.

Two weeks ago I posted to this thread about a 90 ZR1 in my local paper for 29K.

Well, it's still in the paper and is now listed for 23.9K and "NEED TO SELL".

Junkie, you still interested in an early C4 ZR1?

There was a nice red 91Z with 17,500 miles at Carlisle last week listed at $21,500 OBO. It hadn't sold as of Sat. night. Seems to be a good time to be a buyer.

What they are selling for!

I have been watching Mecum and what's on eBay and Mecum just yesterday only got 19,500 for a Red 1990 Zr1 with less then 20,000 miles in perfect condition I was sickened because they should be going for 35,000 in my mind! Hold on to yours because the market is way down on all cars that are considered collectors! Just go to Mecum Auction to see you will be sick! I don't think my car would get 15,000 Black on black DRM tuned and 433 gears polished engine and rims! Keep your car because they have to come back up! I would never sell yours for less then 25,000 but would bet it wouldn't bring 20,000! I am on your side 100 percent what they should be getting for the best Corvette for a bullet proof engine! Good Luck with your sale if you sell it!

I watched a white '91 bid to $22k and the buyer wouldn't let it go. Bravo to him. That's what it's going to take to turn this market around. Problem is there's too many like the the owner of the '90 that will let them go for $10k under book.

I have a friend with an '90 LPE car on Ebay right now that already sold for only $17k, must have been a non paying bidder though 'cause it's back on there with a starting bid of $15k. He'll sell it for that too. Sad.
