Thanks for the info. I think this really may be the way to go. A 427 or similar is looking good (big block displacement, without the weight).
Now, I just need to start figuring all the parts I'll need, so I can do a parts budget. Then all the machining, and figure out a machining budget. Then have a small coronary. Then save up the money and have a blast
