Where do you check yopur transmition fluid at in a 1998 cor. conv.!?

You do NOT specify if it is a manual or an auto, however, both are checked from underneath.
Transmission should be checked cold, at a fill plug, on the drivers side of the transmission.
Automatics are very specific, as you must check the fluid when the temps are between 80-125 on the DIC, and loosen the 24mm fill plug, while running, and see if a little dribbles out. If so, you are fine.
