Looking at Vin of my 06 ZO6, trying to determine the car's production # within the total of 6200 produced. Thanks for your help.

I believe the last 6 digits of the VIN indicate the production number. But, and I may be incorrect here, the Z06's were built along with coupes and convertibles, as orders were placed. That means one can't determine where their Z06 fell in relation to other Z06's.

As I said, I may be incorrect because the Z06 may have had it's own production number designation. I checked the Tech Center and Model Center but I couldn't find any info on 2006 VINs.

Hello neighbor! :w

Jane Ann is correct, the last 6 digits of the VIN are the production numbers. So far as I know, the Z06's did not get a special VIN sequence, so the production number will only tell you where your car was in the over all production in 2006.

P.S. Be sure to check out the Pacific Northwest Forums. I try to schedule a cruise or 2 every month. The more the merrier! :)

thank you so much for the help. At first, I thought it was the last 4 digits of the vin number, due to the fact only a little more than 6K were produced in 2006! Now I know where it lies in the total production of 06's Thanks twiget for the warm welcome back to the forum. You all are my friends, and would love to check out that link regarding drives occasionally in the Northwest!
