Is it true that a build sheet is stored somewhere in the front bumper?

I seem to recall reading about that somewhere here at CAC, but I find it hard to believe.

I've read that there's a piece of the documentation located someplace under the nose piece... here on this board. I believe it is the build sheet.

Is it difficult to get to? Has anyone extracted theirs? My C5 is a 2004 so I imagine that if I do in fact have a build sheet in the nose, It's probably pretty funky looking by now

You have to pull th front facia off of your car to get it. Ordering it from the museum is easier! National Corvette Museum

Hmmmm, pull off the front facia? Not me. I'd rather purchase one from the NCM.
