Mark silly question what's the audio fuse block for on the right fender... You going to put some BOOOMMMINNNNNGGG BASS in that thing too??? What in the world do you need all that extra wiring for??? With all that extra wire in there you are going to need to upgrade to a 572.......

As you well know.... when it's custom... there are no plans.... you design as you go along. You see a picture in your head... and you build from there. It just takes time......Glad that the pic turned you on....

Now... if we could get ladies to get turned on by looking at a 502... I'd be in Heaven...:L

Dude.... It's a Hip Hop C-2.....:L

The fuse block is for the Fans ("2" 30 Amp Fuse's) The device in front feeding the use block is a Voltage/Amperage display That swings between Voltage and Amperage every 6 seconds. It also contains Fuses which act as a Fuseable link.

The other 2 fuses feed the Added Headlight relays on the Driver side. The power is tapped from the Horn relay Which feeds that display unit. The Horn Relay is the center of the Voltage Universe on the C-2.

Heh Jim,
There are many palces that sell the 502 .also there are many versions you can order. Most large suppliers like Summit or Jegs have the Motos and also Some GM dealers can order for you. Just seach the web.

My Vette has the Keisler 5 sp which was installed about 2 years ago..:beer

Middel Wire.......?????;LOL WTF are you talking about....:L

Thanks VNV. Since I posted,i found several for approx. $6-7,000. Will that engine run on stock trans? Jim

Mark good luck with what your doing.

It may sound crazy but when I am wiring a project like your doing I actually roll up the wires and lable them with a tag (like the ones a repair shop uses to lable keys) that I dont need yet and neetely put them aside,so I dont keep touching them or getting confused by them .

My mind is very simple and when I have every thing all layed out it distracts me. Your fuse block look very neet and orderly Good luck I know what your going thru here. I have to start lacing up the 62'S harness and for that I will close and lock the garage doors to be left alone while I am doing it otherwize ill make a mistake. I guess the hardest part is making the mess look neet and orderly.

Thats one part I never look foward to. I hate wiring.

In the bottom of our hearts, we all hate wiring, but it's one of the necessary evils. The reason it turns me on is because it is usually left for last, and once it's completed, so is the project. ;)

I probably have no place commenting on wiring up a car's entire electrial system considering my total lack of experience doing work on my own cars..... but of all the aspects of restoring or building a car, the wiring would most likely be one of the jobs I'd be more comfortable with because of my background in car audio. I'd feel a lot more comfortable jumping in to do the wiring over mechanical or bodywork anyday. Neat and orderly wiring is also one of my pet peeves. If I see messy and unorganized wiring I have this increbible urge to just rip it all out and redo it. With some of the extremely complex and sofisticated systems we used to install neat and organized wiring was a requirement to keep everything in order, keep interferrence down, and to aid in any troubleshooting later on. Granted a cars entire electrial system is much more involved but the basics of doing it organized, neat, and correctly are kind of ingrained in me now.
I'd be completely lost in any other aspect of working on a car, but the wiring would probably be do-able for me and I'd most likely enjoy it which is ironic considering that it seems that everyone else on here that can do everything on their cars hates doing the wiring.
Go figure

Mark and all you other electrically mastered individuals. I am so electronically challenged it is unbelievable. I am a CPA so give me a tax return or a set of books and I will straighten it out no problem. When it come to electricity, I call my son - a senior electronics tech with a high tech electronics firm to fix my problem. I buy the beer.

Looking great Mark!!

Steve
