I called it for 9:30 am..but that isn't sharp ...so when ever you get here is fine. I still have to fill the cooling system and hook up test gear etc...

it will still be at the mechanics shop - a few unexpected problems have cropped up on it but with MY luck that shouldn't be any great surprise. Oh well, they are calling for rain tomorrow anyway and I don't take her out in the rain.

I'm using the same mounts and there is almost no torque movement while in neutral. As for under WOT through the gears, I haven't worked up the courage to get Doug to drive while I sit on the fender and watch.

Anyway.. I'll be at the 63-67 String Ray Registry. They'll be 2 other 502 midyears their. 67Heaven's monster .. and Dennis M's 502 Ram Jet modified by Dennis.."Midyear"... Plus a whole gaggle of Beautiful non 502 Vettes to get wet over.

Last year we had a nice turn out in the 63-67 area... Stop by and check out some of thses other sweet Midyears...

well im 15 minutes from mark and its alittle overcast right now,but looks like it might clear up, good luck today mark.i got 2 cars to fix today and put a motor in marks pantera so im alittle busy or id stop by.If i get done early will swing by.

Thanks Tom And Pat... The Fire up wad some minor glitch's ...(Oil Pressure Fuel pump Switch Circuit)..and a minor leak at the thermo fan temp senor.....and a weird one an oil leak at the dip stick tube insert area. Not the tube but the plate that is attatched to the pan.. I'll check that one closer tomorrow.


All in all 502 ran like a top after the timing was set. There was a very scary moment or incodent that happened...and if it wasn't for Kid_Agin And John Lolli...it could have been a big melt down mess.

I'm going to put up a post about the strat up ..check it out.
