I dont know what fans your using ,but I am using a 17" spal puller fan on the 62. The noise level of this thing is LOUD, Is yours the same way?

I have seen these thermostacicly controlled varitable speed controllers and I never could figure out why you would need them,Now I guess its to lower the speed of the fan because of noise levels .

I have some wireing questions.

You guys that are running the electric fans,Where did you put the censor to turn on the fans?

Lastley .I am using an alarm in the car that has satilite tracking (simular to Lojack) and I plan on installing a small 12 volt Battery hidden with the tracker (incase the car is stolen and the battery cables are cut) the tracker would still be able to run.

Is there any special way I have to tie this extra battery into the circut so it charges from the alternator.

I am using an adjustable Derale controller that has a small probe to insert between two rows of rad tubes - so the fan only runs to cool the rad when the RAD is hotter than the temp set on the controller. The temp of the engine is controlled by the the tstat. P.S. My Derale fan has curved blades for minimum noise.
I use a cellalarm for notification and tracking (at the disgression of the police). The cellalarm comes with a black box connection to the phone charger jack that keeps the cell phone battery charged. If the alarm is activated, the cellalarm dials out to report it using the cell phone battery. I believe it will stay active for tracking as long as the called number does not disconnect.

I'm actually having great fun pulling up beside the tree-hugging Volvo-drivers at a stoplight and watching their reaction. You know.......obvious gas-guzzler; extreme noise out of the headers; fans whirring like a low-flying Apache; me with ear plugs in.

I'm thinking I need the final touch to complete the picture -- aviator glasses. ;LOL

Light's green...............................we gone. :w

I have my exchaust in except for the rear tail pipes ( not thrilled with the noise level as I feels its a tad too loud) anyways I took another video so you guys could hear the sound of the car with the mufflers on and when I down loaded it on to my computer all you can hear is the whine of the fans over the exchaust.
