Any help would be appreciated. My keyless entry works for everything but the driver side door lock. The lock will work manually, but not from the key fob. Any recommendations?

Summitt, welcome to CAC. :w As you have already found, we have many good troubleshooters here to help you with whatever problems you encounter. Follow dadaroo's instructions and I'd bet he'll get to the bottom of the problem with your fob. :thumb

Pull your DIC codes, I want to see if there is a communication issue between the BCM and LDCM.

Thank you, I had codes in only three modules as follows:
AO-LDCM 8 codes, B2282H, B2284H, B2262H, B2264H, U1255H, U1064H, U1016H, U1096H.
A1 R DCM 7 codes, B2283H, B2285H, B2265H, U1255H, U1064H, U1016H, U1096H
BO RFA 1 code, C2105H

Also, this is a 2002 Coupe with 71,000 miles.
Thank you!

I appreciated that you put the codes under each module where they showed up with the kicker of H. That is critical to do, thanks.

Most all codes will show as H and not C once the ignition is OFF.

However, with that said, the B2105 one under the RFA (the FOB receiver) is the RF TPM sensor and not your issue.

HOWEVER, you have a LOT under the LDCM (Left Door Control Module). Need to see if any are still Current and the cause of your issue. You have a lot on the RDCM too but you said it worked OK.

Did you mean you can lock and unlock "manually" by activating/pressing the switch button on the door? If so, then the 2 LDCM relays there are good.

This should not be hard to figure out.

Thanks Mr Sam,
The Drivers side door will work with the key inserted in the door. The drivers side door lock button will work intermittently on the drivers side door. It will lock/unlock the drivers side door about 3 in 10 tries. The passenger door works everytime with both the button and the fob. I did not clear the codes in case anyone had any questions about the codes.
I appreciate your responses in this matter.

OK, kind of nice to get the "whole" picture now. Consider yourself scolded.

We need to first get the driver door to lock and unlock properly without the FOB.

Does the passenger door have any issues with locking and unlocking using to passenger door switch?

The door control module relays are known bad actors but are cheap and can be replaced.

Thanks Mr Sam,
The passenger door lock button will not lock or un lock the Drivers side door. works fine for the passenger side, but will not move the drivers side.

Thanks, I misunderstood what you had said about the passenger door. Appears no issues there at all.

Let me know when you reset/ delete your codes and go for a drive. Remember to pull them again before you turn the ignition off.

Mr Sam,
All good for the codes. I went for a 20 mile drive. When I pulled the codes there were no codes in any module. No change in the symptoms of drivers door. Still works intermittently with the fob and either button on the doors.
Thanks for your help,
Summitt

OK, at this time I think it is the relays in the LCDM or maybe the lock motor. The lock motor is easy to test by unplugging it and jumpering 12volts to the motor to see if it works consistently. By reversing the polarity you should be able to make the motor lock and unlock.

I discount the door switch since the FOB is not working the lock as it should either.

Here is how you remove the door panel.

Here is a link on the door relays to review. Look at the 3 relays on the left in the first picture. The middle one is Unlock and the bottom one is for Lock.
