Hey Tom! Let me know next time you're in town! We'll get the "twins" together! Doesn't yours have gray interior?
Damn Tom,I wished I was still in Missouri I'd drive over and fix that thing if it Killed me!!Well, I am able to do a few little things now with the hand well on it's way to healing. I changed out the Knock sensor module....still no love. Still doing exactly the same thing, still running crappy after going into closed loop. I am about to try and find some place that I can take it to.
Yes,a flywheel can cause a knock!! I had a Olds Cutlass here once that had a 3.8 that had a heck of a knock in it!!I even bought a salvage yard engine to put in it,I found a crack around 2 bolt holes at the crankshaft when I pulled it!!!Just a few Q´s here for those who "know".
Does "knock" retard timing?
Can a cracked flywheel cause knock?
Just a thought since no one mentioned it.
Harmonic balancer?
Tom, I know you have run several scans and posted the results.
Any chance you can run another scan and post it?
I believe the solution to your problem is in the scan numbers.
Just my opinion, but I am sticking to it!
Good Luck!

Tom,
Trailer is still available.

Tom, are you getting any more DTC's?
I am having an issue with KS's also. Just replaced both last night and DTC 43 is still there. It does run a bit better, but I want the SES light off!!
I have been following this thread. Some great info!
Still getting the code 43 in history, nothing current. I know (in my heart) it has to do with a sensor somewhere, because in open loop it seems to run pretty good, but as soon as it goes into closed loop, is when things seem to go south.
