:confused what is the best engine oil to use? ive always used whats whats recomended in the owners manual. i hear lucas oil stabalizer is good to use with your oil. just wondering.:confused

I also change the oil every 12-15 thousand miles but change the oil filter every 3500, to 4000 miles.
Mobil 1 works for me
How the heck can you change the filter without drooping oil ?
I think you'll find the filter intake is higher than the oil pan level .It is true that the weakest link of synthetic oil change is usually the filter.As I always change my oil at 50-70% I don't worry to much.Early oil changes are not really necessary but it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.![]()

The point is that premature oil changes and specialty synthetic oils probably won't do much of anything for the average owner except waste a little money .But it makes the owner feel good and I like to feel good.![]()
