What's true of light vehicle engine oils, is true of the engines in Class 8s. If you are using the correct engine oil, you don't need an additive, Lucas or otherwise. If you're using the right oil, maintaining the engine properly and driving it right, it wouldn't surprise me to see 1,600,000 between overhauls.
10 pounds more pressure at "idol" (is that "Billy Idol" or "American Idol"--sorry, couldn't resist) is irrlevent. What's important is whether or not the volume of oil flowing through the engine is enough for properly lubrication.
