If the seats are in good shape or at least have all the parts, let me know. My 76 Project Car has seats that are rusted out and missing parts. Pics and price to fa22trainer@yahoo.com. I'm in Texas and will pay full shipping.
At Day 22, I have ordered about $1600 worth of parts. This has mostly been the fiberglass on the front end, including a non-stock hood (Mid -America). The new floor pans are $260 each. The interior of the car, i.e., seats, carpet, dash, console, will all just about have to be replaced. I...
Barry,
Just checked out your website with the valve covers and such. Great job! I'm doing a 76 Project Car (just started) and your pics should be a huge help. Excellent job on the fins, too! I appreciate the paint tips.
I'm very interested in your "experience" as well. The 76 "Project Car" Plans call for the same front kit, but it's pretty far down the list of tasks. Keep us informed and with pics if you can.
Go ahead. Try and ruin my day.:D But first, get a number, get in line....
The previous owner told me they were Chevette wheels. Never owned a C3 before this one, so I just bought into it. Sort of. Either way, it's blue, it's dang ugly, and it's going in the trash. It's not even salvageable that...
Like the Chevette steering wheel, the floor pans were obviously someone's idea of a joke at GM. I'm not laughing at the 260.00 each price tag for a set of pans. BUt of course, either do it right or suffer the consequences. At least I can put a paint job on them that should prevent future issues...

Spending the weekend tearing the interior out and a few more chores. Uploaded some more pics so I could empty the camera card and uphold my agreement to keep everyone posted. Note the passenger side seat has NO springs at all in the...
Since the squirrel is obviously a Vette fan, I would think a small model of a Vette similar in color and style of what you own. Coated with rat pison, of course. If that doesn't do it, either start charging him rent or fall back to the 9MM option.
Good point. The compressor I have been looking at is 3.5HP with a 21 gallon tank (comes with full filtration dryer). I have been trying to figure out if it's going to be big enough. Have to check the CFM requirements of everything I buy carefully. Thanks for the response and advice.
I've seen their ads in the weekend paper. Apparently there is one almost on the way to work. Never been by there, but it sounds like a good opportunity. Thanks for the input!
Anybody bought a small bead or sand blaster recently? Need something to tackle those small parts during the "76 Project Car" restoration. I've heard of everything from walnut shells to glass beads, used as medium, but I'd rather hear from someone who has actually bought and used one. Size...
