i get a shudder when backing up???????

I had the same issue with my Polo Green 96 after I replaced the clutch. I would get chatter in reverse, especially when backing up an incline, or hill. Once I drove the car for a few hundred miles, the chatter went away. I think the clutch just has to be broken in, you should be fine. Good...

Welcome aboard Karl. The Corvette obsession started for me when my dads friend stop by our house with his brand new 1969 Corvette Convertible. I was blown away by that car, and really couldn't resist when the C4's were introduced in 1984. I picked up my polo green '96 LT4 in '99, joined a...

    Question: winter storage battery maintenance

Welcome aboard yron. You won't have any problem with a trickle charger hooked up for the winter, cover and all. I have the Deltran battery tender hooked up to both cars in the winter, without any issues. Remember to take the car out for a spin if the weather is good enough.:welcome

Help! Need Help With A Targa Top Trim

Ron, The same thing is happening to my Polo 96. I tried to just tapping it back into place with a rubber mallet which worked for a while but it quickly returned. I was thinking some kind of "crazy glue" might help permanently keep it in position but I don't know. I would be very interested...

    Question: Resurrecting a '92

Check post # 5. The only reason I know is because when I bought my Green LT4 from the dealer, they were missing, and I wouldn't pick-up the car until he found them or changed them. He found them. :thumb

Hay Ray, welcome to the CAC. Sounds like you have covered a lot, I would add, make sure you have the wheel lock keys for the car. Good luck with the car, C4's are great fun.

Question: Help identifying wire from antenna and second antenna??

Hi Vette, I am not sure about the wire from the left rear fender, it should be the antenna wire going to the radio. Could have been disconnected if the previous owner has an after market radio, not sure though. The second picture is an old cell phone antenna. They were called mobile phones...
