Thanks, I'm going to have to bite the bullet...or use some AN fittings to run a braided line from the pump all the way up to the carb. The biggest PIA to date!!:w

Very interesting. I just converted to an edelbrock performer 600 and have been wondering if I should have gone bigger while I was at it. Sounds like I should be good. Although it does put a damper on my dream of dual quads on top of a high rise manifold!!! :w

No, this all started after I had the carb installed so I have been trouble shooting it via the edelbrock web site. Tomorrow I am going to check the float level (7/16"), fuel pressure (< 7) and needle/seat for proper functionality. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Thank you all for chiming...

Does the engine need to be running normally to be able to check the pressure? With the way it's going it really doesn't run smooth at all. I appreciate the help. I'll try the float first and hope that fixes it.
