1996 LT1 Automatic will not shift into high gear

Can anyone give me a starting point as to why my 96 LT1 automatic will not shift into high gear. I have changed both solonoids in the transmission. I have googled this problem. No one seems to have an answer. It will sometimes shift into high but most times not.

Question: I have a Question or 4 about Lowering the front End

If your front tires are 45's put 40's on. It will lower the front about 3/4 inch. Alot cheaper if you want to change back and you will.

Rear window a little sticky raising

You need new hatch supports - Pep boys sells for $35.00 ea - make sure you get the ones with rear window defroster terminals. If you dont have a pep boys auto parts - most any auto parts can get them - save $ over Ecklers etc.
