    2003 Turbo Joe Creeper Classic

More Creeper Excitement Here is another creeper challenge picture. I think Turbo Joe was explaining the rules to everyone at this time. For some reason, I don't have any pictures of Turbo Joe. I think he was moving too fast the entire time and the still camera could not pick him up. Turbo...

    2003 Turbo Joe Creeper Classic

And the winner is... Creeper Cameron Here is a picture of Cameron in mid-course. He finished about 1-2 seconds ahead of the pack. Note the cornering style. We are not sure if his cell phone ever worked again, though.

    2003 Turbo Joe Creeper Classic

Creeper Cameron on the Start Line Here is Creeper Cameron on the start line. He also had an unfair advantage on most of us contestants, as he had only half the years and half the miles on his chassis.

    2003 Turbo Joe Creeper Classic

Here is Creeper Luigi. BTW, he had an unfair advantage on the rest of us, as he flew up from Florida and was tired out from keeping one eye in the rear view mirror for "The Man". He finished well up in the standings...

    2003 Turbo Joe Creeper Classic

Creeper Race Pix Here's a picture of Joanne Mercer, our only lady contestant. She did well with a unique upright/backward creeper style.

    2003 Turbo Joe Creeper Classic

Chris said: "Turbo Joe's innagural creeper challenge" had to be one of the funniest parts of the show - Who's got the pics??" Without further ado, here are some of my pix from the Carlisle Creeper Classic.

    Auto Transporter Recommendations/Complaints?

Late Checkout/Carlisle We both probably drank more beer than the other guys. Chris, speaking of that, thanks for contributing your HP/Torque guess Yuengling winnings to the team on Saturday night. That was a good time. Turbo Joe, I even enjoyed the creeper races (since I did not finish dead...

    Thanx Chris!

Chris, Great job on organizing the events and the people. You also gave a great presentation at the banquet. My hat is off to you. I think everyone had a great time. Luigi, 90Callaway, I, and many others have a number of additional pictures that you might want to throw onto the CD before...

    Auto Transporter Recommendations/Complaints?

CR1 Heading West Here's a picture of the new (to me) car that will probably be going on the Intercity Lines truck heading west from Slohio. Note the slower vehicle (maybe) in the background. Steve

    Auto Transporter Recommendations/Complaints?

SurfNSun, The red aero convertible (see attached) is not yet for sale. It is also a long way from you, as it is located in San Diego. I bought this as an interim car through Ebay last January while I was searching for a TT car. It looks pretty nice, but it is really an everyday car with an...

    Auto Transporter Recommendations/Complaints?

I just purchased a 92 Callaway Aerobody car (CR1 number one) in Chicago and would like to have it transported in an enclosed carrier from Ohio or Illinois to the San Diego, CA or Reno, NV areas. I have been looking for some quality recommendations and any transporter horror stories on the net...

Reading the description, I can't help but wonder...

White/Red TT Aero I had also talked to the former owner of this car a few times last fall and was getting ready to fly over to Denver in mid-December to look at the white Aero coupe. Just before my trip, the car was traded to an east coast museum owner. I was told by the owner that he traded...

    LT5 Motor Rebuild Costs

LT5 Rebuild Costs/Parts Thanks for all the good information so far. Has anyone done a recent stock rebuild and can itemize the major parts needed/costs and labor costs for us?

Newbie needs help with a Callaway ?

CR1 Options/Pricing Tony thanks for the info. Sort of like buying a boat. If you have to ask about the price... That interior sure must be nice at $15K. There is just not that much material in a Corvette interior. Ouch. The coilover suspension is a relative bargain by comparison.

    Cheap Aerobody kit on ebay...

Corvette Kit Car? This truly appears to be a Corvette Kit Car. Perhaps it is better represented as an: 84/85/86/88/Firebird/Corvette/Aerocoupe/Low rider My late 86 Corvette had a thick two spoke steering wheel, as shown in one of the pix. My late 86, aluminum head, Corvette also had...

    Cheap Aerobody kit on ebay...

Current bidding on this Aerocoupe is only $2025, so I doubt you could go too far wrong at that price, even if some minor pieces are missing. Each piece of the Callaway kit probably goes for around that amount. Callaway probably wants more than that amount for the scooped hood. I suspect the...

Best way to adjust fuel pressure

CP9110 Scanner Chris, Thanks again for super-informative responses. Sounds like that CP9110 might make fuel injection motors easier to troubleshoot than older carbureted motors. I was thinking of getting a fancier laptop program/software and interface cable, but based on your experiences...

    LT5 Motor Rebuild Costs

What are "typical" rebuild costs for a high mileage LT5 motor? Are there any parts that are becoming difficult to get or which are wickedly expensive (things like cams, starter motors, secondary vacuum control devices, etc.)? If anyone has gone through the rebuild ordeal recently, could you...

    AXXIS brake pads

Axxis Brake Pads for Corvette SpanishV, These pads are the same as the old Repco MetalMaster pads (at least one of the types they are marketing on ebay is a MetalMaster). I have had long and excellent experience with the Axxis/Repco MetalMaster pads on the following cars: BMW 2500, BMW...
