The rheostat works fine but no dome light when turned all the way. The dome light works when the car door is open but not on the rheostat.

Hey guys, I am needing to replace my 85mph speedo head. I prefer to replace it with another 85mph but I will take what I can get. Can anybody point me in the right direction? thanks, Brad

I took off the air dam and disconnected the horn from the relay. Not really a fix but at least it has me back on the road.

I was going to work this morning and topped a hill and then there was some roadkill on the road (a dog, I think) and ran right over the top of it. Body wise, it only messed up the lower air dam and small area of the front bumper. After I hit it, the radio lost power, the horn started honking...

These were taken last August. We haven't had too many good days on this end of the state either. I'm looking forward to Spring!!

My horn is possessed. Please help. It goes off for no particular reason. It really likes to go off when there is a crowd aroung looking at my vette. The horn cap is a little loose. I have tried to take it off and see what is going in there but I don't know the procedures to do that. Can anyone...

I think I have pinpointed the source of my squeak to the speedometer. I have a rebuilt transducer and two new speedo cables. The speedometer works fine but the squeak gets louder the slower that I go. Besides not slowing down, does anybody have any suggestions as to what needs to be done...

Most of the old paint is coming off. There is going to be some light fiberglass work on the rear quaterpanels. It looks like there had been a previous repair at one time. Brad

Its in the shop now. I am replacing the front urethane bumper with a fiberglass bumper. It might be done this week. I'll post pics of it when I get it back.

My cousin started up his '81 today and the headlights popped up while he was revving up the engine. The lights were off but will come on when he pulls the light switch out. But the headlights will not go down. I looked in my Haynes manual and they mentioned a manual control valve but didn't say...

I had the same problem on my '84 a couple of weeks ago. I put a new battery on and put in a couple of new terminal bolts and then I was good to go. Brad

The carpet is roughed in. I haven't had any time to work on it much here lately but I should have some time next week. Here are a couple of pics I took this morning.

I've got it put back together now, just waiting on the carpet now (I had to send it back). I should have disconnected the battery to be on the safe side but forunately I didn't do any damage to anything. I'll post some more pics as I get further along with it. The battery compartment did close...
