I keep a CTEK on it. So I ended up with a 78VPG 800 CCA 110 RC. It replaced a 110 RC in 2008 that replaced the original. So I'm getting eight years out of the AC Delco batteries. I guess I can't complain battery life. It just seems like I just replaced it.

Mike this is not a bad task and can be completed by access to the door panels. I had a similar problem and when I pulled the door panel, as Ed notes, I found a wire hanging by a few single strands. Its good to go thru and check both switches and actuators while you've got the door panel off...

Interesting...none of my manuals or the AIM show that. So its an integrated system rather than separate assemblies.
