Can anyone verify this. I believe I read where the newer C6 vettes retain all memory when battery is disconnected. I'm going to change the battery soon, and don't want to lose all the stored stuff. Thanks for your time. (if this is so, can you say what year this became this way?)

I don't know the code for the audio system, and need to change the battery. The book says removal of the audio system will lock the unit, but nothing about removing the battery locking the unit. And, if the code is needed, will a dealer be able to "reset" the unit? Thanks in advance. Dennis

earlier 07's didn't have the new style fob I found out that the early built 07's used the old style fob that had the Key on a ring. I didn't get the keys with the fobs, but found out who had them, and now I'm set. The book shows the style fob you spoke of, but the book was ahead of the fob...

switching rims on 2 corvettes

I purchased an 02 vette and the 01 I still have has better tires. If I just switch tires and rims, will the tire pressures register on each car? Or will I have to move the tires, but leave the rims on the respective cars? Thanks for your help in advance.
