    Help! Headlight problem---Need Help

Tony, unplugged harness where it comes out of module. Applied power there. Everything going into module checks out. Module is brand new, so is switch. Just replaced both. Thinking I might have a connection problem when it is plugged into module.

Not getting snagged. If I bypass wiring and apply power to harness terminals, light will open and close.

    Help! Headlight problem---Need Help

Junk, Got a used module, did the same thing. Bought a new one, same result. Could I have a bad connection when I plug it in? Harness seems ok. If I put voltage to plug coming from module, light will open. Reverse it and it closes. Does same for both sides. When plugged in, right side is ok...

Falken all season at www.discounttire.com http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/searchTiresBySize.do?sw=false&cs=255&ar=50&rd=16 Put a set of these on my 88 last year. Quiet, ride is good, price isn't bad either. Haven't put enough miles on them to tell anything about wear.

    Cooling fans

Primary fan comes on with AC. Found out secondary fan will only come on when temp reaches 235 degrees. After doing some more checking around, found out grounding A & B pins on ALDL will not make secondary fan run as Haynes manual says it should. Factory service manual has no reference to...

    Cooling fans

Had overheating problem in my 88. Removed my radiator and cleaned out all the leaves, paper, etc. While I had it out, checked the cooling fans to make sure they were working. Grounded A & B pins on ALDL, turned key to ON and only the primary fan would run, secondary would not. Wired secondary...

    CAC saved me again

I was having a serious starting issue with my 88. It would start, run about 1 or 2 seconds and stall. It would do this anywhere from 2 to 10 times before it would start and keep running. When it ran, it ran fine. Just put in new plugs, cap, rotor, coil, etc. a couple months before problem...

    Starting problem

Picked up fuel pump relay while I was at parts store today. After 18 yrs and 102,000 miles decided to replace it anyhow. $12.00 for peace of mind. Now, is it the relay on the firewall between wiper motor and power brake unit? Checked my FSM, but can't find location. Still need help on starting...

    Starting problem

My 88 starts and immediately quits running. It will do this 2 to 6 times before it will start and continue to run. Once its running, everything seems fine. Runs strong, no miss or hesitation. Shut it off, leave it sit for a while and the problem is back. Fires right away when started, then...

    Tires

It's that time. Need new tires. Car has 255/50-16's on it. Not a great selection in that size anymore. Looking at Falkens and Sumitomos. Any opinions would be appreciated. Will probably buy them thru tirerack or discounttire next week. Anyone have any experience with either?

    Power Steering C4

Lucas is great. Cured my "morning sickness" right away. Didn't flush or drain system. Use a turkey baster to drain a comparable amount of fluid from the reservoir, add the Lucas and drive it a while. Just like new. Murf

    The Wave

Warren, don't you know that the bird is the traditional NJ wave to any out of stater that isn't doing at least 15 mph over the posted limit. Brother and sister in law used to live there. Hated to drive there. WAY too many nut cases on the road.
