Side Mount Pipes.... What about the A**?

Please post a pic of upper rear trim panel for 68-72 vette

I think if you use the early model trim pieces it should be no problem. Yes, our trim piece is indented/cutout by the window clips. They had to be custom fit anyway because of the roll bar. Dave

Bruiser has scrambled yokes for Thanksgiving!

Too easy. Seriously, I thought it might be advantageous to be able to change gear ratios easily.

Bruiser has scrambled yokes for Thanksgiving!

According to the dyno sheet it's putting out just under 700 lbs feet of torque, but the dyno it was on is known to be very conservative. I never had this trouble with the full race 355 and road race slicks!

Bruiser has scrambled yokes for Thanksgiving!

I believe the yokes were forged steel with hardened tips (for wear). They sure look crystalized. It looks like it will be cheaper for me to go with a quick change than to buy the available heavy duty aftermarket pieces required. At least those are my thoughts at the moment. We will...

Bruiser has scrambled yokes for Thanksgiving!

I think it's become clear that the IRS is going to have to be changed to something stronger, :hb but, not one of those f*** rear ends. I'm seriously looking into copying the Olds (our race car) rear set-up, which will be a racing quick-change grafted onto the Vette. Either a 3 or 4 link...

Ordered a Crankcase evacuation system for my '68...

We have an evacuation system on our big block. If you look at the picture, it shows the original installation, but we had to raise the valves to keep them from burning, so don't put them too close to the headers. We also changed to the silicon hose as it stands up to the heat better...

    5 point harness bar

We had a welder friend fabricate the roll hoop in our 71 coupe. We wanted it to stiffen the car a little, offer some protection and allow us to bolt up the 5-pt harnesses. We have just enough clearance to get the rear window out...not a 1/4" to spare. With the seats back most people don't...
