Speaking of the CF and their 'censorship', what's new with #29 anyway?

Another possibility is that the Florida #29 was never registered after title was issued in 2002, and it lapsed? If the owner took the 2002 title to the title clerk this year, upon inspecting the title, even though the computer record was purged, a new title could be issued?

Speaking of the CF and their 'censorship', what's new with #29 anyway?

Ken Kayser's article in Vette Vues says a Florida title was issued to the widow in 2002 for the Florida car. He listed a specific date (I don't have the article in front of me now), and said the titles will be displayed in the next article. So how was the Indiana car able to be titled in 2007...

    53 Corvette #29 (x2?)

Here's another option for building a Corvair tribute car. This is a neat hardtop on a car I've seen featured in at least a couple magazines: Put this hardtop on a firewall back 56-60 body, add a 53-55 repro front clip, take off the coves on the doors, add the rear pods, 53-57 dash, 53-55...

    53 Corvette #29 (x2?)

Not to hijack the tread, but I saw in a publication recently, maybe On Solid Ground?, that Back to the Future Products was making a Corvair replica body for sale. It's not on their website yet: Oak Harbor, WA (Washington), New Classic Corvette Car Bodies, Back to the Future Products, LLC...

    I don't think he's saying #259 was the motorama corvair, his motorama replica is a 54: Chevrolet : Corvette:eBay Motors (item 110445334824 end time Oct-20-09 05:47:18 PDT)

    To rechrome or buy new?

Replate the big stuff, bumpers, etc. Maybe the smaller pot metal parts you can by repro. Corvette Specialties of Maryland makes a real nice set of grill teeth, eyebrow mouldings, etc. that they sell for less than it would cost to have these pot metal parts rechromed.

    DeWitts Radiator

I got the Ice Coat Black upgrade, looks awesome. Like the ad says, "So close to original, it might just fool a few people." Might lose a point or two in NCRS judging, but worth it for the better cooling and lighter weight.

I bought one of Tom's for my 59 - looks stock, fits perfect. One of the best products you can by for your car.

Love the Lemans Blue - my favorite Corvette color, close second is Jewel Blue (61 only).

Tall Man 6'5" in 1962 Corvette, Possible?

Take out your stock seats, put them in the closet or sell them on ebay for big money, and then buy the Wiseguy seats - they make a big difference: http://www.carols62.com/59/C1_seats.htm http://www.wiseguys-seats.com/catalog_pricing.html Al Knoch sells these seats as well.

    Corvette No. 002 found?

Is this the same 002 body discussed in these threads? The question was raised whether this might actually be the body from 009: http://www.ncrs.org/forum/archive28.cgi?review=244412 http://www.ncrs.org/forum/archive33.cgi?review=302699 Of course, a prior owner could have written 002 with a...
