I still have the headers, but they have been sitting around so long the prices have gone up a lot since the posting. the new ones today cost around $700. I'm asking $150 +shipping. Sorry;
Clearing out the shop; I have a new in the box set of headers for C3 with sidepipes. They were for my 78' w/ 69 style side-pipe. Sold the Vette before I could install them. $100+ shipping. I can send pics and numbers if needed. I have a bunch of other stuff to sort through to clear out. Contact...
I replaced mine with the Holley Spread-bore and have never been sorry. :happyanim: Very easy to install and worked much better than the old Quad. Had to change the main jets one size small, but that was just my engine set-up.
Good luck

I have had my corvettes insured with Grundy Worldwide collector car Insurance. The coverage is great, the cost is low and agreed value is set by you and them. They have been great. You should check them out. Gary
Guido, I'm glad that's was all that was wrong. Sometimes it is the little thing that make the difference. Good luck on the new tires. Agian glad I could help in some way. Gary
It is worth the time, hope that is all it is. I wish I had try that could have save me several hundred dollars. I'll wait to hear from you. :thumb

Yes that's what I was talking about the Chrome beauty rings that are on the Rally Wheels. If you have the factory Alloy wheels then you don't have them.
Gary
Check the chrome rings on the wheels if you have them. That is a long time problem with the stock rings. One clip will break and they click against the rims when going down the road. I learned the hard way after replacing the rear wheel bearings on one side and still had the noise. :mad...
I have '91 seats in my '78. I LOVE THEM!!! I mounted the seat frames to the C3 tracks; took about a day in the shop to get them figured out. I do have picture of the tracks after welding the '91 mounting taps on. It was a lot of fitting to get the seat to fit on the tracks and still be able to...
I had the same problem on my '78. I installed two washers between the 2 mounting bolts on the bracket and the block. This angled the pump for a straighter line.
Gary
Well they is a history of on old engines; if you just fix the compression loss on the top end (heads); it is a 50/50 chance that the extra compression will blow the old ring out. The old ring just aren't strong enough to hold the compression gain. :mad

I'd be interested in the screw kit & maybe rear susp kit. Not sure about what the shipping would be; can you give me some idea for these to 98223 zip code.
I saw this on the local NEWS a couple days ago. The driver made by being ejected from the Vette, no seatbelt on. He was then arrested for DUI after being released from the hospital.
