Help! 01 C5 Blowing Hot Air On Driver's Side and Cold Air On Passenger Side

I've read a few threads on the removal and replacement of actuators, resetting codes, Disconnecting battery/pulling fuse(27), blah, blah.

The truth is all I care is that it blows cold air. I live in California and not worried about the heater working. So.....my question is, is there a way to make it so that the actuators are set to blow only cold air without removing the dash? I don't have a place to do such a big job, or the energy or the time.

Please help!!! This California heat is "killing me":L

I had a 98 Coupe years ago and when it did that, it needed a Freon charge.

Have them add dye so if there is a leak they can find it easily.
