i thought the bottom end of the motor was beefed up as well? ie getting a strong forged connecting rod in there.

Josh, no, not with the 100+ however, that can always be done seperately :ccol

Hey Josh I have already volunteered my car for the product developement work. The least I could do for Callaway being that I am always asking for the 100+ upgrade. I am relentless Just ask Mike Zoner! LOL

Callaway4Fun, Looks like there may be as many as 10 owners interested in this awesome package - Hopefully your determination will fulfil your order form, circa 1989 ;) :cool

Any news on the Carbon Fiber Injector Covers with Cursive Callaway writing?

Yes, there are 3 different designs that would have to be made depending upon the year of the cars - I was amazed to find out there would be such a difference, not a one type for all...

At any rate, once the C6 products ramp up, the Callaway folks will put this back on the list to do - it has never dropped off the list however, as I am sure you understand, the C5 / C6 stuff is absolute high priority for the moment :upthumbs

Thanks for your interest and patience, I can't wait for mine too!!!!

I actually had the SNAT out today :cool
From last weeks 200 mile jaunt, I took it out again this Sunday, then just wrapped up washing it...

A neighbor w/ an M3 'vert thought the design was absolutely timeless :cool
Also thought the Callaway run-flat wheels were 20 inchers :eek

Hope you are enjoying your machines! :v

Folks, Last weekend, Callaway4Fun and I sat down and together came up w/ twelve names of Owners who have expressed serious interest in this "100+ re-run" :upthumbs

I submitted those names to Callaway Cars in hopes that the project can get off the ground - Keep in mind that the original cost in 1988/1989 was $11,000 for this upgrade and more than likely, the price will have gone up a bit more - final price, TBD however, with more interest, one can hope the price stay reasonably close to where it was back then :confused

If you feel your name might not be on the list, or you recently purchased a Callaway TwinTurbo and would like it added, please respond here, or you can also call the shop and say, "100+ package, please" ;)

Enjoy your cars in the meantime:lou

Some of the names on that list include:
Callaway4Fun
Turbo Luigi
90Callaway
ET VIPER
SHOPVIEW
Tony C.
KRUZMISL
Easycreeper
8388
SC Vette
...amongst other owners :cool

Callaway4Fun - That is awesome news! :eek

I will call and order the megaphones for my B2K then with the rear-y-pipe as the kit -

The original Megaphones on the 1987 B2K's were 2 1/4" diameter piping and the newer ones are 2.5" pipes so that is why it is more difficult to just bolt them up to the factory Corvette rear "y-pipe" as our B2K's came with...

When I talked w/ Callaway Cars about the idea, I thought it would be much easier to just replace the whole rear section - just 3 bolts, two on the flange @ the "mid-pipe" and one on the hanger, then slide out the old set as one unit - Can be done in one's driveway :cool

re: the dash panel - I would like that too, as my wife likes the "roominess" of the 93 we have and dislikes the breadbox in the 89 - Looks like an awesome solution, and leather covered to boot :upthumbs

Thanks again for checking!

Here is a pic of the prototype panel I saw a year ago ;)

Dinner was good and conversation was even better. Spoke with Mike Zoner about the 100+kits and they are still on the drawing board for things to be done.

i would not want it. driving my upgraded 91 with only one hand and a 50% funtional clutch leg is quite enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

91 Callaway: Nice to see you're still enjoying your car! :lou:upthumbs Ike
