1967 Power Steering Pump Leaks

Brakes......... we don' need no skinkin' brakes!
;LOL

Bob, I know what you mean about all the idiots on the road!!!
driving my cars would be a LOT more fun if those idiots weren't out there. You just never know anymore what stupid moves they will pull for no apparent reason at any time.......
Like when the idiot sitting in front of me at a red light decided to put his car in reverse and just back up........ right into the nose of my '65 3 weeks after I bought her. WHY, WHY, WHY would you put you car into reverse and back up while sitting at a red light, and do it without bothering to even look to see if someone is behind you????? Not to mention a C2 Vette with side pipes is hard is miss!
or the idiots that decide they need to cut across all 4 lanes of an interstate immediately, no matter who else is in their way.........

I went to that website, looks pretty neat! :)
If I ever get the money and increase my mechanical abilities i'd love to build a custom street rod - like a '59 or '60 or a C2 with a SR111 frame, a hot motor, etc and that hydratech braking system looks like it would be perfect for that.

They're very common in the truck world, Barry, where all that weight wants to keep the vehicle moving forward.

It's something like this or the driver has to stand on the brake pedal and push against the roof. ;)

ahhhhhhh, that makes sense.
thanks :)

OK, I was prepping the car today for a possible (weather permitting) Club road cruise on Sunday. The power steering system is dry outside and not leaking. Kudos to you folks and I guess to Lucas.

Most diesels have hydroboost systems, since they have no manifold vacuum; diesels are unthrottled, with the induction system wide open all the time - power is a function of the amount of fuel injected into the cylinders.
