I have a friend with a Lemans Blue Vert, 2 tops (black vinyl/white) 327/300/4spd. Original unrestored condition, but some new items like carpet, exhaust, SS calipers. The car has 59,000mi and 8 years with her. She is asking 15,500 in eastern Pa. Any idea if this is reasonable. The car is not show room but excellent condition for its age. Numbers match (car was delivered a 3spd and converted), everything works, there is a ton of documentation and the only non original parts are aftermarket headers. I am taking pictures of it tomorrow, if weather allows.

I got over a dozen at 1MB each. The usual all angles shots and interior, engine, tires. I can send some (a few at a time) if you like. I will put it up on e-bay this week.

Cheers,
Carmen

Here is a chopped down version only 65K

Why so cheap? If the car is what you say it is it is a 19-23k car and worth every penny. Don't let it go to cheap you will never replace it for that.

My brother bought his 68 427 vert for about 15KUS$ so it may be in the right price range...

I have a corvette price handbook 2 years old. The car that Carmen discribes is a #2 car.He doesn't say anything about options but the price 2 years ago was16,200.00. Then if you take an average appreciation of 20-25%VER THE LAST 2 YEARS you have a PRICE OF 23,330.00 ON THE LOW SIDE. Everyone I know that is into vettes says that 20-25 % per year on the steel bumper cars is average. The c2's are getting priced out of the average collectors range therefore steel bumpers are skyrocketing. I would take all I could get at 15k if I had a place to store them.

I appreciate the interest but my friend's 68 vert did sell last fall for $14,500. Since prices are going up we could have held out for more but she needed the money.
