Question: 1981 Electrical Schematics On-line ?

I see several recent issues with electrical problems with our Vettes. I am troubleshooting one myself right now. I found a Norwegian site on the internet with pdf schematics for a 1980 Vette. Two questions, do you think they are the same as an 81 schematics ? (I am not sure, wire colors are not matching up!) Does anyone know of a site with 81 drawings? i do have a Chilton book, but it is generic for a C3. I guess I can always spend $20 and by specific drawing for an 81. Thanx !!

I am replacing the engine and wiring harness in my 80'. Can you tell me the site where you found the wiring diagram for an 80 Vette?

81s have computers. 80s do not with the exception of the California cars. Electrics between the two years may be the same with the exception of the computer stuff.

The 81 GM Chassis and Service Manual ought to have the schematics you're after.

Sell the Chilton and buy a Service Manual for a 81 (has everything you need!)
