1989 heater core replacement

hey all! while i was replacing all the carpet in my vette , i decided it was the right time to rplace the heater core,what a job! im 6,3 and even with the pass. seat out, i spent hours upside down on my back under the dash!never did get the last two upper shroud screws out, but was able to pull the thing out far enough to get the heater core outthen in. As far as the carpet rplacement goes (i put in flame red, and took ot the black) it came out very nice and lightens up the interior, but i wouldnt do that job agian for love or money!!!lol! keep safe all, see ya on the road! I did this job on my 89 a few years back. I also would not do it again. I'll take it to a shop and let them do it. It was hell.

It's easier the 2nd time. I did mine in a couple of hours.
