On the '89, is this the switch that turns the fan on when you turn on your A/C?? Also is that a Shraedder Valve where one does'nt have to evacuate the system in order to replace the switch?? THanks for any info in advance..!!! :w

It is a shradder valve...but that is a pressure cycling switch. It should have a green and a green/black wire connected to it. Then it runs into the back of the compressor and the High pressure cutout switch. The resistors and relays are located in the box. I'll scan a pic for you from my 84 book...they should be pretty much the same.

Thanks much ..!! Here's the diagram for the 88-91 A/C lines. It doesn't even have the switch on the big line on the drawing( the one I first took a pic of). The two small switches (13-14) I have. One is the cycling swt and the other is compressor engine cooling...whatever that means....I have no switch or connector running into the back of my compressor. I have a pic of that if you'd like too see. I'am trying to find the high pressure switch that turns the front fan on next to the evaporator when the A/C is turned on. I get cold air only when moving, not standing still because of that damn switch....I just gotta find out where the hell it is.....thanks again for any info...!! :w
