96 CE LT1 Performance problems

My 96 LT! is having a minor problem. At times it seems to bog down when I accelerate. It can happen off the line or on the interstate. It acts like a rough idle. Only happens when I begin to accelerate and the clears up. Comes and goes? Could this be the opti spark mdule or a clogged injector?

Need some help out here. Car only has 55K miles.

I have a 1995 firebird with similar problem. Mine is a corroded ignition coil and plug wire. Check other ignition stuff first before opti (coil, plugs, wires, etc.) There's always an outside chance of clogged cat but I doubt it with that description. Fuel pump could be checked with pressure gage to exonerate it, but my guess is it's ignition for you as for me.
