On Sept. 24 2002, as i was stopped behind a SUV at a traffic light, the driver of the SUV began to back up at a high rate of speed...................He Hit me! His first words to me were your car is too low and i did not see you.......

The result is $5000 damage to my c-4
Damaged were: The front cover, rebar, right fog and signal light covers, hood support , cracked windshield, car is out or alignment...shakes at 50 mph...

Insurance will cover damage!

What a mess!!!

A very sad Willycool

Bummer!

Does not matter how tall/short/wide or thin your car is...it was his responsiblity to make sure his path in his line of travel (backwards, in this instance) was clear. I hope it is HIS insurance that will be paying!

Let me see. He backed up at a light (traveling opposite the normal direction of traffic) and is blaming YOU?

Did you tell him his vehicle was just too high?

D*()^*#()N mobile chicanes...

Every idiot has an excuse for his foolish actions. Not only will his insurance pay for your damages it is a wonder he did not get a citation for careless and wreckless driving to boot!

That's what is great about this society, you can't run over something just because it is small! (assuming you can catch it to run over it!) :)

.......

That sucks. He is a dork.

Did this moron offer any explanation as to why he was backing up at a high rate of speed in the middle of the road at a red light? I think I'd have killed him with no questions asked.

Hey, do you still get a Code 32 or did the hit fix it? Sorry, bad humor sometimes helps... I know it does for me.

I hope you get it all fixed up better than new at no out of pocket cost to you.

What a moron! Didnt even apologise?

But shall we look at the bright side?

If you replace the bumper cover with fiberglass U wont have to worry about the urethane sag/bumps in future.
