THREE ( Four e mails from Jeff )
Mike,
( #1 )
I just got off the phone with Sharon at Intercity and she'll be doing the schedule for pickups on Mon. I told har that I can take either Wed. or Thurs. off next week to make sure I'm around all day for them to
come by. She said she'd call on Mon. afternoon to schedule. I'm getting
the car out tomorrow morning and will run to NAPA for a battery and a can of ether to get it going. If there's any probelm with that (I don't think there will be) I'll let you know. The toll free number for
intercity must be fairly local to me because when I was on hold today they had a Boston radio station on for the music while you're on hold. That may be why they're only working a couple of days in advance, I
thought it would be something that needed a week or so notice, but she assures me that they don't.
(#2)
I'll be going to work this morning getting the car out, most of the ice is gone, got a clear space to put it in for a few days and pickup in the middle of the week. It's a great day for it (rainy and about 40), I wonder if its too early to drink beer? I'll let you know later today how things go.
(#3)
The car is out and sitting out back, with no mishaps in getting it out. The battery is out and I'm on my way to NAPA. My wife wasn't too happy about me making her push it, but she's a bad driver.
(#4)
It started on the third try, with a little help from a new battery and a can of ether, ran ragged until warmed up, it reeeeeeeeally doesn't like the cold. anyway, WE'RE ALL SET.
Thanks
Jeff
