Are there any vendors that sell fat lip wheels to fit a C5 w/o spending $4k or more?

I really want to move away from the normal OEM wheel options that are available for my 02 coupe. I'm really frustrated ad trying to get a staggered 17 / 18 inch custom "fat lip" wheel setup without spending a ZILLION dollars! With all the "zillions" of wheels that are made today, none seem to fit the Vette unless you move up to 19/20 inch "EXPENSIVE" wheels!? There are a ton of wheels in the 17/18 inch catagory with the look that I want but they NEVER fit the Vette. Why is it so hard to find wheels that will work?

Does anyone have any recommendation on 17/18 inch fat lip chromies in the 2k range?

They are not the "fattest," but Cray Scorpions fit the bill. They're made specifically for Corvettes, are vette hub-centric, and even accept OEM sensors and center caps.

I just purchased some CCWs from Corvette Garage. I went with the 505a wheels which are a split 5-fork design. I purchased 18x10/18x11s, but you can also order 18x8.5/19x10, 18x10/19x11, or 19x10/19x11. $2595 for the set. Some other package options available.

I love the new wheels, and I was very happy with Corvette Garage. I met Nate Caro years ago at a corvette event. A good guy. You can purchase them from several vendors I believe, and I believe directly from CCW.

These are the 505a wheels I bought. The site probably has pics for other designs as well. None of these is of my car, but they are pictures from the vendor's website. I presume by "fat lip" you mean the deep dish look. I love that look too, and these pictures show it pretty well, especially on the rear. I love the chrome on my black vette. I need to get some pictures this week.
