thanks again for yours and Alex's help today! :beer
Can't wait to have you see Baby again once she is finished and all cleaned up.

Good news I can't wait to see it at Carlisle:upthumbs

I have a Water furnace Heat Cool and free hot water in the summer.

Paul. I swear by Lennox. A little pricey but you'll make up for it in fuel savings.
They don't use the chimney. They run 2 4" pvc pipes out the side of the house. No pilot light. HVAC guys in my area say reliability is second to none. :)

uhhh, how can I break this to you - NO GAS FURNACE "needs" a chimney anymore, ditto for gas water heaters . . . . and my gas water heater, you ask?

AO SMITH!!!!!

just like my car . . . . . .

Barry - promise us at least one pic of the new arrival in your driveway not too long after the blessed event, ok?

Don't worry Jack, have I not posted all important pics throughout this paint job yet? I'll post some final pics. :beer

my painter is the one that had the stuff and did the spraying of it into the switch so I guess he wasn't too concerned. Besides , he sprayed it outside while the car was still inside so it guess it was pretty safe.

here a few pics showing some reassembly

front and rear bumpers, taillights, front parking lights and grill and headlights and windshield.
oh, the bumpers went on very easily and lined up nice and straight and even the first try! I guess it helped that pretty much everything - bumpers, brackets, etc were pretty much all new when they came off the car.

she's looking nice and shiney too from the buffing :D

Wow. That really shines!!! Almost there........ Sure are lots of little bits and pieces once reassembly starts. I'm still finding stuff to put back on mine and I haven't touched the body.

Tip for reassemblers...... Put the lower front splash shields back on before you put the sidepipe covers on.

Beautiful! It's been worth the wait for sure.:)

Thanks Paul

now that the windshield is in I hope the trim moldings fit ok with the new windshield gasket. Bob's experience with 67Heaven has me worried and looking at it and how it sits with the new clips has me a tad bit concerned - but we will find out soon enough

I am sure things will work out well. And if there are some minor glitches there are always fixes as Bob found out. My glass did not come out so things went very smoothly. Looks like days now for you!

I've got to get my windshield and gasket replaced soon as it leaks pretty badly. I'm just waiting for someone to come up with the best combination of rubber gasket (not too thick or thin) and correct clips (that will work best with the gasket).

Really just waiting for all the rest of you to have all the problems so I know what to avoid.;)

Sub

both the clips and the gasket came from Paragon or LISC. I forget which now without digging out the salesorder since I ordered both back in the Fall.
we will see how well they work when we go to put the trim moldings on.

problems.

Barry looks like my pick of the 22nd looks like a good one :D

In all seriousness, the car is looking good.
