Best Head/Cam/ Header combo for an LT1?

Hey all, I have been considering just bumping the HP in my LT1 a little bit rather than using a turbocharger or supercharger. What heads and cam would you recommend for a weekend warrior street car that will up my power yet retain street manners? What about full tube headers? The exhaust will have to be custom made as I have a C3. What kind of power can I expect without going into the engine? Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help!

As far as I am concerned the best Heads on the market for the LT 1 are the Air Flow Research (AFR) 190 heads, they have the best flow rate across the board. As far as a cam I would go with the GM Hot Cam Kit, includes valve springs, caps and retainers.
