BRR...

Brrrrr! Cold in California today too. Had to wear a windbreaker while driving with my top down. Supposed to be 75 tomorrow. I'll have to break out my mittens. When will this cold snap go away???

Yeah, that's the reason I like it in Texas!!! We were in the pool last night (yep, heater on) and had the top off the Vette last week. We may be toasty in the summer, but thank God for Texas winters! If it's chilly one day, you know you might just be in shirt sleeves the next with the top of your Vette off!

It was so cold here last night the electricity froze.
Come on down to Texas. Our electricity is nice and warm. And, yes, my family has property on Vinalhaven Island. I've been there in the winter - almost. It's snowed in and the dock's up or frozen during the dead of winter. Brrr!

I hear ya. Had to take my sweatshirt off this morning while I washed my truck.

I really feel for you guys in the colder climates though. I've lived through it and I don't miss those winters at all. But I do miss your beautiful country sides. It's really hard to give up god's country for a little bit of nice weather, but I'll manage.:D

Please put some miles on any of your Corvettes for us that are snowbound. :cry

We were at 9° this morning (Columbus, Ohio), we are now at a whopping 16° as of 2:00 pm!

I’m an avid military aviation buff, The Fortress is my favorite aircraft, that’s where I pick-up the name.

I love military history. I have pics of my oldest daughter in Memphis Belles' ball turret and tailgun position. We toured the restoration site and the curator was pretty cool.

Where's the snow chains and the plow?

That’s great!

I’m still waiting for an opportunity to take a ride in one. I think it runs about $350-$400.00 for about half an hour at the larger air shows. There’s also a P-51 Mustang that you can go up in (located in Kissimmee, Florida) that my neighbor was telling me about. He hopes to go up this summer. https://www.stallion51.com/stories/storiesarticles-warbirds.cfm?axis_v=2

With the C4s traction and snow handling ability I don't need chains, and with the air dam and the slope of the hood I can already plow my own path.

If you don’t mind me asking, could you tell me what you paid for your ’89, that is one attractive car. I just may have to look at that year for a vert!

I have never hit a pedestrian! I guess the hot Texas sun has baked your brain! Oops I guess you gotta go theres some steers needing some luvin.

I don't get it I drive my Vette in the snow and ice without any problem. My car handles well. The reply above was to another crack about a plow and chains; guess what I don't need them. If you guys/girls ,Nancys and whatever else can't handle your car in the snow I guess you need some driving skills. Because your are missing out!
