I am a diehard Corvette Fan and came across this site about two months ago, i contacted them and found out that they could build a chassis for my 62' that would allow me to retrofit an entire C-5 System With little modification, Recieved my frame and am very excited. I Promised to pass it along to other enthusiasts. You might know someone who is interested in the same thing , Thanks

Nathaniel

SRIII Motor Sports is now offering a chassis capable of harnessing the power and performance of the C-5 System for your early model Corvette!, As of posting information is not posted on site but will be in short time. I did the same thing with my 57 Bel Air. I used a bolt on rack and pinion from Jim Meyers Racing. When they say bolt on they mean bolt on. Gives the 57 corvette like handling in the front and in the rear I used a 87 Vette rear end. For drive train I used a Ram Jet 350 crate motor from Chevrolet with a 700R4 tranny from the same 87 Vette. I haven't been able to make the brakes work for some reason that I cannot fathom. I am using all new parts- lines, calipers, rotors, master cylinder, vacuum booster etc. Can't seem to get any pressure to build up and stay there. As soon as that is fixed I plan to be driving that and giving my 2000 FRC a rest for a while.
