1 ) maybe not your current "friends" but future employees for sure . (which I bet they agree with me )
2) with every word you type you prove you do
3) I am correct in everything I say , anyone that has any education or interest on economics knows this
4)admitting you buy stuff at Walmart (sad) and no you cant . Pros as you try to make out like you are, do not buy parts at Grocery Stores (lol)
5)Yea , I really need to start back to church !
6) lol , so much for your clean sweep , your outta your league bro , but its admirable you try .

Mikey is right, you are giving toobroke a run for his money. :L

I certainly did , I shoulda made it simpler , sorry . :L

Except that your business model vilifying Walmart also applies to Auto Zone, Napa and the other huge international auto parts chains which also pay their people poorly in as terrible conditions as they can get away with, and have wiped out the small independent guys. Every town used to have at least one independent. Now they're all gone.

B*stards.

Some places in tiny markets but overall you are totally incorrect . Go in ANY Auto store and ask whos a bigger threat , the other parts stores or Wal Mart ? lol Where I live the chains and independant stores both survive (for now) . :w

Aside from personal insults and irrational lectures about where people should shop according to your flawed thinking, do you intend to contribute anything of actual value to this forum?

Ive insulted nobody or lectured anyone . I simply stated facts about how to help small business thrive which is what this country should be more concerned with . If you think thats "flawed" thinking then you are not the type of person that will absorb the info or care if things get better anyway . I think the sensible Americans who read this will think my comments are actually "valueable" and be amazed why people like you think this is not important . :w

Besides , it seems you are from Canada so you have no understanding of this topic anyway .

Reading your two latest posts above, I think you could have just said 'no'. I was going to give you partial credit for knowing that Ottawa is in Canada but had to take it away again for thinking that the economic model does not apply here nor would we understand it.

Carry on with your education of your fellow citizens please. I don't think you've got any support so far though.

lol Support ? for what ? You 2 are the only ones trying to be hard headed enuff to argue about something that you know you are wrong about. :L

There are simply no arguments to the points I make . I thought maybe you would get it and agree but it seems not , go ahead and buy your parts at Wal Mart and be happy . Make America great again and Have Wal Mart be the only stores we have .

It didnt start out about Shopping if you look back . Its sad people dont understand about this subject . Ill try to help ya briefly . Wal mart pays its employees as little and treats them as bad as they can get by with . The business plan includes putting all competing specialty stores out of business (gain Monopoly) reguardless of what they have to sell products for .(this has been done many times across America already and sometimes they then close the Wal Mart Store as well ! ) This means Grocery Stores , Electronics Stores , Auto Parts Stores etc etc , all of which pay and treat their employees better . (dont take my work just read a little ) Surely you are starting to get the point , unless you are like Trump who thinks making America great means producing his products in China ? :L

This is one of the most condescending posts ever posted here. Knowing the people involved, I am fairly certain that they are aware of the issues you raised. All things equal, or nearly equal, most of us will buy local or American. When things aren't equal, it is another matter. i.e. Wally World charges 5 bucks a 5 quart jug less than the "local" parts stores. 5 bucks a jug is a tie breaker with some people, including me. Besides, given a chance, the local parts houses aren't above overcharging for items where they can.

This thread borders on belonging in the Edge, so let's get back to oil tips, and away from where to buy.

Got it?

To the original question on changing oil on C7s.
Chevy, Customer Care, provided 4 oil changes over 2 yrs on Stiingrays with an additional one for Z51 & Z06 at 500 mile. They recommended the oil changes be done at 6 mo / 500mile but told dealers to perform then whenever the customer requested if different. This changed in 2016 when they provided just 2 oil changes over 2 yrs on Stiingrays with an additional one for Z51 & Z06 at 500 mile. This is in the owners guide and I also contacted Customer Care in person and via their website. Customer Care oil changes are to be Mobile 1. Early on, some dealers were not using Mobile and customers complained. Chevy reimbursed the difference to those who complained or provided a new change with mobile 1, customer choice.
There are dealers out there that that did provide additional changes as part of the sale, some charged extra for this , some didn't.
Talk about a thread that got way off topic.......

Oil @ wall mafrt

If you are "in the Industry" then you certainly should be embarrassed buying auto parts from Wal Mart . You are effectively slowly putting your "friends" at the parts stores out of a job ! Yes it seems you are the perfect example of someone who needs help on issues like this ! The real kicker is that usually even without specials you can get oil cheaper at the parts stores ! Geez See ya at Church !

BOYS BOYS NOW LETS KISS AND MAKE UP GO TO CHURCH IF YOU NEED

BUT REMEMBER WE NOW HAVE TRUMP AS OUR LEADER AND HE WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE AND REMIND YOU TO BUY AMERICAN ;LOL:w

JUST CHANGE IT WHEN EVER THE HECK YOU WANT AND WHEREVER YOU WANT GEEEZ
