C1 trans/driveshaft tunnel scatter shield?

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a C1 trans/driveshaft tunnel scatter shield that was stock? I thought I had seen something about it a few years back but I can't remember where. I hate to even think of the damage to the fiberglass (and occupants) if the driveshaft let go. I have brand new u joints but any additional protection would bring peace of mind. :confused

I know there's a shield on the floor in case the flywheel decided to... well... fly. But, I have never seen any info on a shield for the driveshaft.

There should be a piece of steel plate rivoted to the underside of the tunnel just above the front universal. If memory serves me correctly, it is about 8" front to back, bent in a "U" shape to match the underside of the tunnel and maybe 3/16" thick. I also believe it is in the AIM if you look hard enough.

Found it! It's called a guard assy and the part# is 3728417. In the AIM see sect 4 sheet 2.
